Individual Therapy
Beginning therapy can be anxiety-provoking but also enlivening. It provides a special opportunity to learn more about yourself, to learn new ways of coping and being in the world, and to be supported in an accepting and empowering space. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential to any positive outcome in therapy and I work to create a safe, trusting space in order to facilitate the therapeutic process. I am warm, open, and passionate about helping my clients overcome the challenges that life inevitably throws their way.
I work with individuals around a variety of concerns. Not only do I aim to increase coping, but I also work to create insight into interpersonal patterns and to aid in altering these patterns in ways that enhance relationship dynamics and increase overall effectiveness, both in relationships and in life. Below is a list of some of the concerns that I treat in my practice.
