I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual therapy to adults in San Francisco. ***All services are currently virtual to residents of California***

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and negative body image as well as anxiety, depression, relational and attachment concerns, and trauma.

I work to create a warm, collaborative, and accepting space in therapy to foster increased insight, self-exploration, and positive growth. I am dedicated to empowering my clients to access their inner strengths and to navigate through their distress with increased purpose and fulfillment.

My approach to treatment is integrative and ultimately tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I incorporate evidence-based approaches [i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)] along with relational, self-compassion, and mindfulness-based techniques. I am pursuing certification in Schema Therapy which is an integrative approach focusing on healing and altering early maladaptive “schemas” or behavioral and relational patterns that developed due to early unmet needs and continue to create distress in the present.

I have fifteen years of experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, college counseling and eating disorder centers as well as conducting learning disability, ADHD, and psychological evaluations. I was the Staff Psychologist at Marin Vista Health & Wellness Center's intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) eating disorder treatment program for several years before starting my private practice in 2017. I completed my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral residency at the Student Health & Counseling Center at Portland State University, also serving on the Eating Disorder Treatment Team. I earned Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in Atlanta in 2012.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking and skiing, and in the past, riding horses. I am a travel buff and love exploring new places and cultures around the world. The Pacific Northwest is my original home, but many other places in the country have become near and dear to me as well.
